Getting here by car
The campus is situated on the Western ring road of the city, directly on the A 391 which you can reach from the motorways A 2 (coming from Hannover or Berlin) and A39 (coming from Frankfurt or Kassel). Take the exit no. 6 (Weststadt-Broitzem) and at the traffic light continue towards the city centre. Turn left at the next set of traffic lights into Pippelweg (signed for "Kunsthochschule"). After the next crossroads you will find the main building of the HBK on your right. Parking spaces are available.
Getting here by public transport
There are several direct connections by public transport once you have reached the glass terminal in front of the main train station ("Hauptbahnhof"):
The bus lines 461 and M19 stop in front of the HBK, please get out at the stop Johannes-Selenka-Platz. The large glass cube is our library and there you also find the main entrance to the university.
From the city centre ("Stadtmitte") you can reach the campus with the bus line 443. For the timetable please see Braunschweiger Verkehrs AG.
